GA Leadership #6: Leaders Multiply

Leaders Multiply

In this episode, David Witt recalls the story of Barnabas, a church planter in India who was resistant to the gospel at first.  Then God got a hold of his heart.  Barnabas was radically transformed, lead many others to Jesus and started several churches.

The first commandment in the Bible

"Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”"  (Genesis 1:26-28)

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions."  (Mark 12:28-34)

Pastor Singh depends upon each leader and yet he is the final authority for this work. At the graduation Pastor Singh sat down and let all the other leaders participate up front. He shared the glory and the leadership.  In this way we represent Christ. Pastor Singh as a dozen men that he seeks to discern the will of the Lord.
